In this role, you’ll help students build communication skills through direct services and work closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), school staff, and families.\nThis position offers a part-time school schedule, manageable caseloads, and support from both the district and TheraPeds team.\nSchedule and Setting\nSchool-based assignment serving 2-5 middle- high school students\nPart-time hours, generally between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.\nApproximately 2 to 4 hours per week\nServices provided in person on campus\nGuaranteed hours include eligible documentation, planning, and administrative time\nWhat You’ll Do\nProvide speech and language services under the direction of a supervising SLP\nAssist with student screenings and monitor progress toward communication goals\nCoordinate with the supervising SLP on treatment plans and student needs\nCommunicate with educators, families, and other members of the school team\nComplete documentation and participate in planning and consultation activities\nCompensation\nRate of pay $55.00-72.50/hour, which includes paid time for planning and documentation at the same hourly rate.\nContract arrangement: 1099 independent contractor\nRequired credential: Valid Colorado Department of Education SLPA license\nRequirements\nWhat We’re Looking For\nCurrent SLPA credentials from an ASHA-accredited or otherwise qualifying educational program\nValid Colorado Department of Education SLPA authorization required for the position\nAny additional state-required credentials or licensure applicable to the role\nExperience working with children; school-based experience is a plus\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively\nComfort using technology for communication, documentation, and daily tasks\nAbility to meet applicable fingerprinting and background clearance requirements\nProfessional communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with students, families, educators, and other school team members\nGood judgment, discretion, and a collaborative approach to supporting student needs\nPhysical and Work Environment\nThis position involves working directly with students in a school setting. The employee must be able to participate in activities that may require sitting, standing, walking, bending, crawling, or lifting, as appropriate to the assignment.
