You'll work side by side with our Project Managers on planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting, and you'll see projects through from preconstruction to closeout. This is a great opportunity if you want broad, hands-on project management experience and a clear path to grow with a company that invests in its people.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nProject Management & Controls\nSupport all areas of project management, including planning, cost management, time management, quality management, contract administration, and safety management\nHelp manage schedules, billings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and help select and monitor subcontractors\nHandle preconstruction administrative duties\nOwn submittal management, COR/CO management, and schedule updates\nPrepare for and take part in all relevant project meetings\nManage project reporting\nHelp develop project documentation\nTrack project issues and keep the Project Manager informed\nPrepare project closeout documents and internal work documents\nProvide administrative and office support to the project management team\nEstimating & Preconstruction\nSupport project estimating by reviewing specifications, instructions to bidders, and construction drawings\nIdentify and help generate pre-bid Requests for Information\nProcurement & Vendor Management\nHelp get the best pricing and on-time delivery of materials from vendors\nOrder and track materials, and help choose materials for purchase\nBuild and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers\nNegotiate prices with vendors and suppliers\nContact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other issues\nPrepare shipping documents\nPrepare purchase orders and get Project Manager approval\nClient Relationships\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and owners\n\nWhat You Bring\nRequired\n2–3+ years of relevant construction project experience with an HVAC or plumbing mechanical contractor on large commercial projects\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nPreferred\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related construction field\nExperience with ERP systems such as Spectrum\n\nHow You'll Succeed\nOrganized: You bring a sense of urgency, set clear priorities, and build action plans that get things done on time.
