The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, brings strong communication and problem-solving skills, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nSupport the pre-construction process through specification analysis, quantity takeoffs, and plan reading\nAnalyze material and subcontractor quotes to support accurate, competitive bid submissions\nAssist with bid preparation and submission for mechanical construction projects\nCoordinate with subcontractors to track scope, schedule, and deliverables\nSupport material ordering and procurement tracking to keep projects on schedule\nAttend and document project meetings, tracking action items and key decisions\nAssist with job cost review and tracking to support budget accuracy\nParticipate in team meetings and cross-functional coordination as needed\nEducational Background Requirements & EligibilityThe internship program is open to students pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Candidates must have completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework at an accredited college or university. A valid driver's license is required. Candidates may be required to complete pre-employment drug screening when required by client or project-specific requirements.\nRequired Competencies & Qualifications\nMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 preferred\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment\nAbility to prioritize, take direction, and manage multiple assignments\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work productively with minimal supervision\nProactive, takes initiative, and brings a positive, team-oriented attitude\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
