Remote option is unavailable.\n\nTherma has an immediate need for an experienced Project Manager who will be based out of the San Jose Area and who enjoys the challenge of unique designs, projects and deadlines. This position requires the ability to run jobs big and small, coordinate multiple jobs simultaneously, while also providing leadership to large project teams. The Project Manager works with customers to develop the scope of work, budgeting and estimating costs, and oversees preparation of documents and mechanical, piping, and plumbing project plans. The Project Manager assists in procurement of equipment and materials and is responsible for reviewing, reporting, and projecting all project costs. The position is responsible for managing project roles and identifying and coordinating resource requirements. The most important aspect of the job is to provide customer satisfaction. The Project Manager ensures effective communications and assures relationships between customers and project team members are maintained.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDevelops and maintains professional communications with co-workers and clients \nMakes sales contacts, researches customer needs and follows up on sales leads\nDevelops and maintains relationships with clients, assures client satisfaction\nCoordinate utilize and lead staff from all departments as needed for projects, through the entirety of project.\nPrepare budget projections and control costs. Provide communications including memos, contracts, change orders, strategies and the like to ensure best practices and legal protection.\nMeet established revenue and profit goals\nAttend client project meetings\nWill be required to be on job sites during construction activities and during critical project times\nEstablish, manage and provide leadership to job/project team\nFacilitates and troubleshoots problems associated with project\nPurchase materials and equipment as needed\nMaintains control and accurate projections of project costs\nConscious of budgets and project costs and the ability to value engineer.\nAble to assemble and review submittals with the client and installation crew\nAbility to communicate with the client and trouble shoot technical issues on projects.\nAble to cost out change orders and present to the client.\nTrack material costs and labor hours when necessary. \nAble to redline and mark up drawings as needed\nProvides department leadership by example and mentoring\nSupports accountability for individual projects as well as MEP department in general\nMaintains and follows established Therma Project Management procedures\nQualifications:\n5+ years experience as a Project Manager in HVAC Mechanical / Plumbing industry.\nAbility to operate independently and autonomously, and yet possess the discretionary judgment to know when it's appropriate to consult with others in the organization\nProficient on MS Office Suite\nExcellent oral/written communication skills\nDeveloped presentation skills\nExcellent customer relations skills\nAttention to Detail\nProactive\nAbility to multi-task\nExcellent organizational skills\nAbility to problem solve\nTeam Player\nAbility to excel in a fast-paced environment\nCreative use of skills and resources to get the job done\nBS in Mechanical Engineering/Construction Management, or relatable field preferred, but not required\nCurrent licensed PE preferred, but not required\nSalary: $125k-$175k depending on experience. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.
