The Quality Systems Manager is responsible to ensure the successful implementation of all quality related TEi, Babcock Power, ISO and ASME systems and procedures, work instructions and forms generating records. Through management of the NCR, CAR and Internal Audit processes, the QSM is responsible for verification of actions taken to address continuous improvement activities, from root cause determination to implementation of corrective or improvement actions through effectiveness validation auditing. The incumbent holds a critical role in driving down the cost of poor quality (COPQ) thereby increasing profitability throughout the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.\nDrive quality improvements and eliminate quality system issues through corrective actions.\nDevelop and deliver internal auditor and process improvement training.\nMonitor and reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) while improving production performance.\nAnalyze performance data and provide regular improvement reports to leadership.\nLead cross-functional teams to execute process improvement projects.\nImprove processes across operations, supply chain, and subcontract manufacturing.\nPromote and manage organizational change to increase profitability and business growth.\nUse continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, and statistical analysis.\nEstablish systems to track, measure, and sustain process improvements.\nFocus on improving quality, efficiency, productivity, and overall business profitability.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience. \n5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or design-for-manufacture environment.\nExperience in power generation, petrochemical, or chemical equipment manufacturing preferred.\nKnowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001 auditing, with Auditor/Lead Auditor experience.\nFamiliarity with ASME Section VIII, ASME Section III, 10CFR50 Appendix B, and NQA-1 quality requirements is a plus.\nKnowledge of welding, fabrication, and non-destructive examination (NDE) of pressure vessels or structural steel is preferred.\nStrong computer skills, including:\nMicrosoft Office Suite\nMinitab\nExcel data analysis and chart development\nPowerPoint presentation creation\nTo provide greater transparency to candidates, we include base pay ranges for all US-based job postings that encompass all potential locations and levels for the open positions.
