In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for reviewing customer specifications, performing mechanical design calculations and associated analysis, preparing manufacturing drawings as well as presenting, documenting and updating of these activities to others as necessary. If you are passionate about engineering and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional thermal engineering solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview contract requirements, client technical specifications, sales package and all design data.\nConduct mechanical calculations, prepare design details, generate fabrication drawings and bills of materials, analyze foundation loading, execute code calculations, and create instruction manuals.\nDevelop required general arrangement drawings, fabrication details, assembly drawings, P&ID, and Bill of Material drawings.\nReview fabrication drawings to ensure they meet client specifications.\nIssue final drawings/document packages to workshops or clients as instructed.\nPrepare Installation and Operation Manuals (IOM) and submit to client for review and approval.\nComplete mechanical design and required mechanical analysis.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.\n5+ years of experience in the particular product line and industry common to the product.\nExpert experience in designing pressure vessels and heat exchangers per ASME Code (Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2) and HEI Standards is required.\nExperience in performing finite element analysis (FEA) to the requirements of ASME code is a plus.\nDemonstrated proficiency in drafting using AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.\nRegistered as a Professional Engineer is preferred.\nCertification in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or inventor design software is a plus.\nTo provide greater transparency to candidates, we include base pay ranges for all US-based job postings that encompass all potential locations and levels for the open positions.
