The Quality Engineer assists in auditing, planning, development, implementation, communication, and maintenance of company’s quality management system, policies, documentation, data, and customer specific requirements.\nIndependent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.\nKey Responsibilities:\nInspection & 3rd party sample testing of raw materials.\nAssembling confidential and sensitive information.\nDevelopment of some PPAP related documents (Process Flow, PFMEA-CA, Control Plans, etc.).\nWrite & or review CofA's, CofC's, FAI's. etc.\nMaintain Quality Procedures/Manual and associated supporting documentation.\nDevelop QA processes as needed with input from the department.\nAssist with enterprise resource planning and implementation.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.\n2~5 years experience preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret component & assembly drawings and engineering specifications.\nUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to be able to perform inspections on product.\nAbility to utilize inspection equipment: CMM, VMM, thread gauges, Mitutoyo digital height scale, calipers, pin gages, profilometer, etc.\nAbility to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nGood oral & written communication skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both internal and external.\nCapacity to work independently from general supervision (must be self-motivated once given a directions & guidance).\nStrong attention to detail.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.\nCan sustain high-quality productivity level within a fast-paced environment.\nVision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nPrevious knowledge of ERP systems.\nPrevious experience in manufacturing environment.\nWilling to train the right
