The role focuses on first-level troubleshooting, documented recovery procedures, testing and production support, while providing opportunities to contribute to low-complexity enhancements under the guidance of experienced developers.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMonitor scheduled automation jobs and identify failed, terminated or incomplete executions.\n\nPerform initial troubleshooting using execution logs, error messages, alerts and approved support procedures.\n\nRestart, reprocess or recover automation jobs by following documented Runbooks and validate successful completion.\n\nCreate, update and track incidents/service requests with clear evidence; escalate issues requiring deeper technical investigation to L2 support.\n\nExecute regression testing for application patches, upgrades, migrations and configuration changes; prepare test data and capture evidence.\n\nSupport BAT/UAT, production deployments, hypercare and post-deployment validation for new or changed automations.\n\nMaintain PDDs, SDDs, Runbooks, known-error records and troubleshooting documentation.\n\nPerform routine maintenance, minor configuration changes and low-complexity automation enhancements.\n\nDevelop or modify basic Power Automate workflows and Power Apps components; work with SharePoint, Dataverse and SQL as required.\n\nUse existing APIs/connectors according to solution specifications and support basic Power Automate Desktop or Blue Prism activities where applicable.\n\nIdentify recurring failures and improvement opportunities and work with L2 developers to improve automation stability.\n\nParticipate in scheduled support rotations and communicate clearly with business, application and technical teams during incidents.\nRequired Skills\n\n1-2 years of relevant experience in RPA, automation development, application support or software development.\n\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate and exposure to Power Apps, SharePoint, Dataverse and SQL.\n\nBasic understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, programming/scripting and relational databases.\n\nAbility to interpret logs and troubleshoot routine automation failures using structured procedures.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, follow defined procedures and work independently on routine issues.\n\nExposure to ServiceNow or another incident/change management platform is desirable.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nRole Outcome\nReliably operate and support the automation estate at L1/L1.5, resolving routine issues without unnecessary developer intervention and building the technical capability to progress into L2
