Working as an individual contributor, you'll partner with operations teams to maintain a safe work environment, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in our EHS programs.\nWhat you will do:\nConduct routine safety inspections, audits, and workplace assessments to identify and mitigate hazards\nLead incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence\nDevelop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels\nMonitor and maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations\nSupport environmental compliance activities including permit management and regulatory reporting\nManage chemical safety programs, including hazardous materials handling and waste management\nCoordinate emergency response preparedness and business continuity planning\nPerform industrial hygiene assessments and implement controls for workplace exposures\nTrack and analyze EHS metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into daily operations\nREQUIREMENTS\nWhat we require:\nBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related technical field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience\n3-5 years of hands-on EHS experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry settings\nWorking knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, standards, and management systems\nAbility to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits\nStrong communication skills with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nAbility to lift 40 lbs. without assistance and work in varying environmental conditions (cold rooms, warehouses, etc.)\nWillingness to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)\nNice to have (but not required):\nProfessional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CRSP, or equivalent industry credentials\nAdvanced degree or EHS Certificate in related discipline\nFamiliarity with EHS software systems\nExperience with emergency response and business continuity planning\nAdditional language skills\nExperience in a warehouse/distribution
