Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.\nThe Position\nKey responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:\nWorking in compliance with legislation and Integrated Management System (IMS)\nLead Brno EHS Management System in dedicated areas, cooperate on development and maintenance of global processes\nManage EHS legislation compliance incl.identify new/changed requirements and drive their fulfillment\ncomplete safety and environmental reporting for authorities\nhandle needed EHS permits with authorities\n\nEnsure ISO 14001 compliance\nIn cooperation with other subject matter experts lead compliance in different areas\nProvide responses on EHS issues and actions to requests from authorities, customers, employees\nConduct root cause analysis, implementation and validation of corrective actions (e.g. via CAPA)\nConduct internal audits, resolve, lead, complete, validate corrective actions\nEnsure determination of EHS objectives and coordinate their implementation\nMonitor, report and review EHS performance (metrics, objectives)\nCheck functionality and effectiveness of EHS processes (incl. via Gemba, audits, inspections)\nCoordinate tasks in the area of risk prevention (identification of hazards and evaluation of risks)\nProvide professional assistance to managers with regard to OHS issues at their respective workplaces\nAssist managers, process owners in case of new, specific EHS requirements/needs\nRequire resolution of nonconformities directly from the relevant managers\nPropose and draw up rules, instructions at workplaces, coordinate implementation, check compliance\nPrepare and perform the comprehensive annual OHS review/inspection\nTrain and mentor various teams\nWork with management on continuous improvement of EHS program\nBuild, maintain and improve documentation such as EHS procedures, instructions, plans etc.\nSupport ISO and other certification activities\nLead projects using effective project management skills\nPerform other tasks assigned by direct manager\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in EHS fields and confirmed experience (min. 3 years); or combination of experience, education, and training that demonstrates the required skills\nHealth and safety certification (Czech national certification: OZO in BOZP)\nShown results in improving EHS processes\nShown ability to lead projects from inception to completion\nWilling to develop in different EHS areas based on company needs\nMust be willing to take responsibility for assigned EHS areas\nUnderstanding of ISO 14001\nCapable of providing solid analysis of data that may involve multiple factors and cross-functional areas.\nPC skills (MS Office applications)\nProactive, overall positive personality, able to solve various situations in technical and social areas.\nMust demonstrate effective communication and be able to work efficiently with cross functional teams on projects including international and multicultural teams\nMust demonstrate fluent English - both in speech and writing\nMust maintain a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally if needed and be ready to adjust working time to accommodate communication needs with other regions.
