You'll work on sophisticated applications that control our analytical instruments, including mass spectrometers, electron microscopes, and other advanced scientific equipment. As part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you'll work with developers, scientists, and stakeholders to validate software that enables groundbreaking research and innovation. Your work will directly impact scientific discoveries in fields like cancer research, drug development, and semiconductor manufacturing.\nKey Responsibilities:\nParticipate in software quality activities throughout the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements review, design review, test planning, verification, validation, release, and product support.\nDevelop and execute comprehensive software test strategies, test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.\nPerform functional, system, integration, regression, smoke, positive, negative, and exploratory testing of bioinformatics and software applications.\n. Perform software/OS sytem upgrade testing mimicking customer upgrade scenarios. Perform software installation and integrity tests.\nVerify software functionality against defined product and system requirements.\nReview product and software requirements for clarity, completeness, testability, and traceability.\nDevelop and maintain appropriate requirements-to-test traceability and verification evidence.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated software tests to improve test coverage, repeatability, and efficiency.\nPerform testing of APIs, web services, user interfaces, backend services, data-processing workflows, and system integrations.\nValidate complex bioinformatics workflows, genomic data-analysis pipelines, and software features involving large biological datasets.\nIdentify software defects, document issues clearly, investigate failures, support root-cause analysis, and verify defect resolution.\nCollaborate with software developers and bioinformatics teams to identify product risks, improve testability, and ensure effective verification of software features.\nParticipate in test reviews, design reviews, requirement reviews, and technical discussions.\nContribute to automated testing within Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments.\nContinuously improve software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, testing efficiency, and overall product quality.\nContribute to defining and monitoring software quality metrics and identifying opportunities for quality improvement.\nMaintain high-quality Software QA and Verification & Validation documentation.\nSupport software releases by providing appropriate testing evidence, quality assessment, and verification status.\nWork effectively across multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.\nParticipate actively in Agile/Scrum activities such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and defect triage.\nExperience:\n. 4-6 years of relevant experience across within Bioinformatics/Software Quality Assurance.\nSoftware QA / Verification & Validation experience\n.
