This role is responsible for developing people, strengthening processes, driving accountability, and ensuring programs effectively support regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and operational excellence.\nWhat will you do?\nLeadership & Team Development\nLead, coach, and develop the EHS and DEA Compliance teams while establishing clear priorities, expectations, and accountability.\n\nBuild team capability through coaching, cross-training, career development, and succession planning.\n\nFoster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and proactive risk identification.\n\nThe successful candidate will be a strong people leader who can build high-performing teams, identify opportunities for improvement, and partner across the organization to implement sustainable solutions.\n\nProvide employees with the direction and resources needed to successfully execute their responsibilities.\n\nBuild strong partnerships with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Security, HR, and other site functions.\n\nEffectively communicate priorities, risks, performance, and improvement opportunities to site leadership.\n\nInfluence across organizational levels to drive alignment and sustainable change.\n\nProcess Improvement & Operational Excellence\nEvaluate existing EHS and DEA Compliance processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, standardization, and accountability.\n\nLead cross-functional improvement initiatives that simplify processes while maintaining strong regulatory controls.\n\nEstablish meaningful metrics and use data and trends to identify risks, prioritize resources, and measure performance.\n\nEnsure corrective and preventive actions address root causes and result in sustainable improvements.\n\nDrive standard work, clear ownership, and consistent execution across EHS and DEA Compliance programs.\n\nPromote proactive problem solving rather than reactive management of incidents and compliance issues.\n\nEHS & DEA Compliance Oversight\nProvide overall leadership and governance for site EHS and DEA Compliance programs.\n\nEnsure programs comply with applicable corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.\n\nMaintain organizational readiness for regulatory inspections, audits, and assessments.\n\nProvide oversight of investigations, CAPAs, controlled-substance compliance, EHS programs, and regulatory commitments.\n\nMonitor changing regulatory expectations and ensure appropriate processes and controls are implemented.\n\nPartner with subject-matter experts to assess risk and develop practical, sustainable solutions.\n\nRepresent EHS and DEA Compliance in site leadership discussions and regulatory interactions as appropriate.\n\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Life Sciences, Business, Engineering, Regulatory Compliance, or a related field strongly preferred\n\n5+ years of progressive leadership experience in EHS, regulatory compliance, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or another highly regulated environment strongly preferred.\n\nDemonstrated experience leading and developing teams, managing change, and improving business processes.\n\nPharmaceutical or life sciences experience preferred.\n\nExperience with EHS and/or DEA-controlled substance regulatory requirements preferred.\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong people leadership, coaching, and talent-development skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational and process change.\n\nStrong continuous-improvement and problem-solving mindset.\n\nAbility to identify inefficiencies and translate complex requirements into practical processes.\n\nStrong business judgment and ability to prioritize based on risk.\n\nAbility to influence
