As an Engineer II in Manufacturing Engineering, you'll support continuous improvement, ensure quality standards, and optimize production processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Lead technical projects and provide manufacturing support to help deliver innovative solutions that enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.\nKey responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:\nWorking in compliance with legislation and IMS\nProvide technical product sustaining support from product release into manufacturing through end of service - focus to mechatronic parts of electron microscope \nMaintain technical product and process documentation through ECO process\nDesign tools and test fixtures\nProvide technical support to the factory, to ensure that ThermoFisher is capable of shipping quality products on-time to its customers\nConduct detailed troubleshooting and analysis of system or component level problems that affect reliability, performance, etc.\nProvide input or participate in NPI projects according to PMP process. \nSupport the supply chain with engineering expertise.\nSupport Field Service with product escalations, as necessary. May require some on-site support at customers\nPerform hands-on assembly, testing and training of personnel as required during project work (i.e., assembly, test or measurement, troubleshooting)\nDemonstrated experience with process improvements and methods. Experience with use of statistical process control and statistical problem-solving methods, including Six-Sigma methods, is preferred\nDemonstrated ability to provide clear and concise analysis of data and basic experimental methods\nSelf-starter who is also highly productive with limited supervision\nMust function as a productive team member\nREQUIREMENTS:\nAdvanced Degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience in regulated industries\nPreferred Fields of Study: Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics)\nRelevant technical certifications or apprenticeships are valued\nStrong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements \nExperience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies\nProficient in statistical analysis, root cause investigation, and problem-solving techniques\nExperience with engineering documentation, specifications, and change control processes\nExpertise with CAD software, manufacturing systems, and data analysis tools\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills -
