You combine process engineering, data analysis and practical problem solving to translate manufacturing challenges and opportunities into sustainable technical improvements.\nIn addition, you will lead assigned technical improvement and CAPEX projects, working closely with Operations, Maintenance & Engineering, Quality, Validation, PPI and other technical functions.\nWhat will you do?\nDevelop a strong technical understanding of assigned manufacturing processes and process/equipment interactions.\nAnalyze manufacturing and process data to identify opportunities to improve process capability, robustness, yield and manufacturability.\nDevelop and implement technical process improvements and assess whether the intended performance improvements are achieved.\nProvide process engineering expertise for complex or recurring manufacturing issues where deeper process understanding is required.\nLead assigned process improvement and CAPEX projects, including defining technical requirements, evaluating solutions and coordinating implementation with multidisciplinary teams.\nProvide process engineering input during equipment design, commissioning, qualification and implementation of new or modified processes and equipment.\nAct as a technical Subject Matter Expert for assigned manufacturing processes and support validation, process changes and lifecycle activities where required.\nEnsure technical activities and improvements are performed in accordance with applicable GMP, quality and EH&S requirements.\nWhat do you bring?\nBachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology or another relevant technical/scientific discipline.\nRelevant experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, production engineering or a comparable technical role.\nExperience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food or another regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.\nStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skills and an understanding of manufacturing processes and process/equipment interactions.\nExperience with technical projects; experience with CAPEX projects is highly desirable.\nKnowledge of GMP, quality systems and validation principles.\nKnowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or comparable improvement methodologies is an advantage.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nFluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.\nWhat characterizes you?\nYou are technically curious, analytical and enjoy understanding how manufacturing processes work and how they can be improved.
