The role acts as the primary internal Clarity technical SME and is responsible for resolving complex production issues, guiding technical standards, coordinating with product and infrastructure vendors, and developing broader technical capability across the support team.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide senior-level L3 technical support for Clarity PPM. \nOwn complex incidents and technical problems through resolution. \nPerform detailed analysis and resolution of issues involving functional configuration, custom code, application data, reports, interfaces, integrations, and workflows. \nLead root-cause analysis for recurring, critical, or technically complex production issues. \nDesign, develop, configure, test, and deploy Clarity enhancements and technical solutions. \nDevelop and maintain GEL scripts, NSQL queries, SQL, XOG integrations, REST APIs, XML integrations, reports, portlets, workflows, and related technical components. \nTranslate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs. \nReview technical designs and development deliverables produced by other team members. \nSupport Clarity application services, batch processes, scheduled jobs, interfaces, and automated file transfers. \nTroubleshoot failed batch jobs, integrations, data issues, and application processes. \nLead technical activities associated with Clarity upgrades, patches, hot fixes, and platform changes. \nCoordinate with Broadcom for product-level issues, patches, defects, and vendor-supported fixes. \nSupport investigation of application-server and database-related issues from the application perspective and coordinate with infrastructure or DBA teams when resolution falls outside the Clarity support scope. \nSupport proactive application performance analysis and recommend preventative or corrective actions. \nParticipate in application monitoring and capacity-related technical analysis. \nLead or support technical testing, unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production validation. \nSupport UAT and production deployment activities. \nMaintain deployment instructions, technical evidence, rollback plans, validation results, and change records. \nEnsure production changes are implemented in accordance with SOX controls, segregation-of-duties requirements, security standards, and approved change processes. \nSupport SOX audits, evidence requests, technical control testing, and remediation activities. \nMaintain technical runbooks, system diagrams, Known Error Database entries, troubleshooting procedures, and support documentation. \nParticipate in structured knowledge transfer from the incumbent managed service provider. \nCross-train Developer II and Junior Application Administrators. \nSupport Disaster Recovery planning, application restoration procedures, mock DR exercises, and recovery validation. \nParticipate in the team's 16x5 operational support model. \nParticipate in the P1/P2 on-call rotation. \nLead or support planned weekend upgrades, patches, releases, deployments, and maintenance activities. \nAct as technical escalation point when production issues require advanced analysis. \nRequired Qualifications\nAdvanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of professional software development experience \nPreferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field \nSignificant experience developing and supporting enterprise business applications. \nStrong experience with production troubleshooting, application development, configuration, integrations, and technical support. \nStrong SQL and relational database skills. \nExperience with application upgrades, patches, releases, and production deployments. \nExperience performing root-cause analysis and resolving complex production issues. \nExperience operating within controlled change-management and audit environments. \nStrong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. \nAbility to support extended-hours operations, weekend maintenance, and on-call responsibilities. \nRequired Clarity PPM Skills and Experience\nAdvanced hands-on Clarity PPM technical development, configuration, administration, and L3 production support experience. \nAdvanced proficiency with GEL scripting, NSQL, and SQL for complex development, data analysis, troubleshooting, and production support. \nStrong proficiency with XOG, REST APIs, XML, web services, and enterprise application integrations. \nAdvanced experience developing and supporting Clarity custom content, including reports, portlets, workflows, processes, views, and customer-specific functionality. \nAdvanced experience troubleshooting Clarity production issues involving application configuration, integrations, batch jobs, data, performance, and custom code. \nStrong working knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL Server and the ability to perform application-level database analysis without assuming DBA ownership. \nWorking knowledge of Linux and Apache Tomcat sufficient to diagnose application-layer issues and coordinate with infrastructure or middleware teams. \nAdvanced experience leading Clarity upgrades, patches, hot fixes, production deployments, rollback planning, and post-deployment validation. \nExperience coordinating product-level defects, patches, and technical escalations with Broadcom. \nExperience supporting Clarity in a SOX-controlled environment, including controlled changes, segregation of duties, audit evidence, and production access requirements. \nDemonstrated ability to mentor developers and administrators and transfer Clarity technical knowledge across a support team. \nTechnical /
