This technology plays an important role in cryo-electron microscopy workflows, helping scientists study biological structures and advance life sciences research.\nYou'll combine manual and automated testing to ensure our software delivers reliable performance and an excellent user experience. Working closely with software developers, product owners, and other specialists, you'll contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to final product release.\nThis is an opportunity to apply your testing and automation expertise to sophisticated scientific technology and see the real-world impact of your work.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality, functionality, and reliability.\nDevelop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, preferably using Playwright.\nParticipate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and test planning to validation and release.\nIdentify, investigate, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to verify resolutions.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and technical documentation.\nCollaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure effective test coverage.\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to efficient testing workflows.\nContinuously improve testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes.\nContribute to delivering reliable, high-quality software for advanced scientific instruments.\nWhat We're Looking For\n3+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing.\nProgramming skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, C#, or TypeScript.\nStrong experience with test automation tools and frameworks, ideally Playwright.\nExperience with test management and bug-tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail, including defect lifecycle management.\nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.\nStrong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with software developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.\nGood written and spoken English.\nStrong documentation skills, including the ability to create clear test plans, test cases, and technical reports.\nNice to Have\nISTQB certification, ideally Foundation Level (CTFL) or higher.\nEducational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.\nPrevious experience or an interest in scientific software, electron microscopy, or life
