The role is to ensure that all production activities follow approved procedures, documentation is maintained, and improvement opportunities are identified and implemented.This position plays a key role in maintaining operational control, supporting process improvements, and ensuring production teams are properly resourced and guided to achieve business objectives.\nDaily management of staff, to set jobs and expected performance levels, leading the shop floor and ensuring production schedules are met.\nDaily reporting on the Production status will be required.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess Control and Optimisation\nOversee day-to-day manufacturing processes to ensure they are carried out efficiently and in accordance with documented procedures.\nIdentify and implement opportunities for process improvement to optimise production flow, resource use, and quality outcomes.\nDrive data-based decision-making using shop floor data collection and analysis (e.g., CIM ERP system).\nDocumentation and ComplianceEnsure all work instructions, build documents, and process controls are current and complete.\nMaintain visibility of controlled documents and ensure production technicians are using the latest versions.\nInvestigate any deviations from process and implement corrective actions where necessary.\nMaintain accurate results and records as required.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nRepresent production in NPI (New Product Introduction) activities to ensure smooth transition of new products into manufacturing.\nWork closely with the Quality team to review process performance, identify nonconformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nParticipate in ECN (Engineering Change Notice) meetings and ensure all relevant production changes are communicated and implemented.\nWorkflow and Resource ManagementDefine and maintain clear workflows on the production floor, including kitting quantities, workstation allocation, and process sequencing.\nEnsure all production technicians have the tools, materials, and information required to complete tasks efficiently.\nSupport the development of resource plans to meet build schedules and operational targets.\nMaintain acceptable housekeeping standards to ensure an organised, clean & safe working environment for all employees.\nUndertake / Supervise -
