This program not only offers practical, hands-on opportunities and project work in partnership with our Desktop Services team; but interns will also have the opportunity to enhance their existing skill sets through a range of professional development activities, cultivate relationships with employees and fellow interns, and participate in impactful volunteer initiatives within the community.\nPosition Summary:\nAs a Desktop Services Intern in our Internship Program, you will be a key member of our Desktop Services Team. Possible takes that you will assist with include:\nProvides first point of contact for calls and walk-up incidents and service requests\nDocuments, addresses, and resolves basic incidents and requests\nLogs all incidents and requests and engages other service desk resources to resolve incidents\nCreates a positive customer support experience and builds strong relationships with internal customers\nCommunicates promptly on progress and handles customers with a consummately professional attitude\nPerforms special projects and other duties as assigned\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:\nTwo years of college preferred\nExcellent time management and the ability to complete projects and assignments to meet deadlines\nGood communication skills\nAbility to listen and ask pertinent questions to gain understanding\nDemonstrated ability to pay attention to details\nAbility to follow processes\nProficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment and software packages\nAbility to work onsite at our corporate office in Edina, MN\nCompensation Overview:\nThe base pay offered for this position will be $20.00/hour.\nMore About Western National Insurance Group:\nWestern National has long been known as “The Relationship Company®” and caring for our employees is part of that relationship commitment.
