This program not only offers practical, hands-on opportunities and project work in partnership with our Premium Audit team; but interns will also have the opportunity to enhance their existing skill sets through a range of professional development activities, cultivate relationships with employees and fellow interns, and participate in impactful volunteer initiatives within the community.\nPosition Summary:\nAs our Premium Audit Intern, you will be a key contributor not only within the Premium Audit team, but across the office including departments such as Commercial Lines Underwriting and Loss Control. Possible tasks that you'll assist with include:\nResponds to audit-related inquiries from policyholders, agents, and internal departments\nAssists with the intake, prioritization, and assignment of premium audits to ensure timely and accurate delivery.\nMonitors audit status and follows up on outstanding or overdue audits\nAttends departmental meetings, conferences, and initiatives that promote cross-functional collaboration\nAssist the audit team with ongoing projects\nLearn about the Commercial Insurance industry\nComplete other duties as assigned\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:\nCompleted two years of college preferred\nAbility to work independently and within a team.\nStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and work closely with various teams and departments.\nInterest/Experience in the Insurance Industry\nAbility to work onsite at our corporate office in Edina, MN\nCompensation Overview:\nThe base pay offered for this position will be $20.00/hour.\nMore About Western National Insurance Group:\nWestern National has long been known as “The Relationship Company®” and caring for our employees is part of that relationship commitment.
