We are looking for a Lead Integration Consultant to be a part of the Digital Integration team where you’ll be engaged in cloud and hybrid integration projects, largely around the Microsoft stack. This role can be based in either Wellington or Auckland. You’ll bring innovative ideas to each solution, where quality counts and your insights matter.\nYou’ll get to work in a very supportive environment, with a team of brilliant minds and thought leaders, where opportunities for continued learning and growth are always available.\nSkills and experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako\nWhat you'll do\nLead the technical delivery of integration projects from detailed design through build, testing, and handover.\nMake design decisions within the overall solution design. Choose the right Azure services and patterns to meet customer requirements.\nBuild resilient solutions. Plan for resiliency, idempotency, error handling, dead-lettering, and monitoring.\nDesign and build APIs using Azure API Management, including policies, security, and versioning.\nGet security and operations right in the build, including Entra ID, managed identities, private networking, and observability.\nWrite code when the work requires it. Solve complex issues and set the quality standard for the team's output.\nLead and mentor the delivery team. Review designs and code and raise the capability of the engineers around you.\nContribute to scoping and estimation for new work alongside Theta architects and project managers \nWhat you'll bring\n5+ years delivering integration solutions on Azure, including time working as the technical lead on an impactful project.\nDeep production experience with Azure Integration Services: API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions. \nStrong knowledge of integration patterns and when to apply them.\nExperience making detailed design decisions and being accountable for how the solution behaves in production.\nWorking knowledge of the wider Azure platform: identity, networking, security, and monitoring.\n Customer facing experience and strong communication skills.
