This role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget while ensuring strict adherence to campus standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.\nPosition Description:\nManage the full project lifecycle for JOC construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout.\nOversee multiple small- to mid-scale renovation and new construction jobs concurrently within an active higher-education campus environment.\nCoordinate with campus stakeholders, end users, facilities staff, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project alignment with institutional goals.\nPrepare and maintain project documentation, including scopes of work, cost estimates, change orders, schedules, and progress reports.\nMonitor contractor performance under JOC agreements, ensuring adherence to contract terms, quality standards, safety protocols, and applicable codes.\nConduct regular site visits to track progress, resolve field issues, and verify compliance.\nFacilitate meetings and communication among all project participants to ensure timely decision-making and minimal disruption to campus operations.\nManage project budgets, track costs, and ensure timely invoicing and financial reporting.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts related to JOC program processes and project delivery.\nRequirements\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.\n5+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably within JOC, higher-education, or public-sector environments.\nStrong understanding of construction means and methods, building codes, and contract administration.\nProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n2 years’ experience in Educational Facility Construction\nExperience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)\nKnowledge of all parts of the project life cycle, to include master planning, design, construction and closeout.\nExperience in alternative delivery methods.\nExperience with using a web based project management system.\nExperience in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS)\nExperience in Formal Construction Partnering\nExperience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes or similar\nA valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the California State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors\nA valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI).\nBenefits\nSalary Range: $168,000-$173,000\nMedical, Vision, & Dental -
