Performs code walk-throughs, reviews and audits. Zenith Insurance does not sponsor employment visas for this position now or in the future.\nResponsibilities\nParticipate in web application and AI tool projects by performing various development tasks quickly without sacrificing efficiency or reliability. Development projects typically involve SQL, C#, ASP .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue, and/or XML.\nDesign and develop tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes in MS SQL Server.\nUtilize AI assisted development tools to multiply team output and be a champion for their use within the team.\nDevelop and maintain automated Word and Excel templates as requested. These templates are created by working closely with the client in order to meet (and hopefully exceed) the client's expectations and help improve the company's workflow. Templates usually require VBA and SQL.\nSolve moderately complex problems independently.\nCommunicate and document technical aspects of work in a manner that is easily understood and actionable by peers.\nAdequately articulate thoughts/design/idea/specs to IT managers and product owners.\nApply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nWork productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis.\nRespond positively to direction and feedback on performance.\nConsistently maintain professional and appropriate demeanor.\nPerform other duties/projects as assigned.\nEducation\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training/experience required\nWork Experience\n 3+ years frontend web development (Vue, Angular, or React).\n 3+ years backend web development (ASP .Net, C#, or Java with MS SQL Server/Oracle).\n CSS frameworks (Bootstrap) and responsive design.\n Proficient with AI-assisted development tools (Github Copilot, Claude, Codex, etc.) and a believer in using them to multiply team output\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\n Experience with web development using ASP .NET (C#), JavaScript preferred.\nExperience with stored procedure and database development in MS SQL Server/Oracle preferred.\nExperience with AI assisted development tools Github Copilot, Claude preferred.\nExperience with markup and style language processing like HTML, XML, and CSS a plus.\nExperience with front-end libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, Vue, and Bootstrap a plus.\n Experience using Git, SVN or other version control software a plus.\nPreference for Insurance Business domain knowledge in at least 1 area (Policy, Claims, Other).\nPractical understanding/demonstration of Development process and tools.\nDemonstrated ability to learn and apply advanced features and functions of systems, processes, technology standards and methodologies.\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nTeam player, self-starter, motivated, and multi- task oriented.\nAbility to prioritize work requirements.\nPay, Benefits, and Other Information\nThe expected salary range for this position is $87,502.48 - $121,081.56. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
