Our work spans high-volume e-commerce content, social-first campaigns, brand platforms, immersive experiences and technology-led activations. \nWe work with a broad range of well-known brands, including Disney, L’Oréal, Myprotein, LOOKFANTASTIC, ASDA, Sky Vegas, Warner Bros., Jet2, Swizzels, Avolta and The Overlap. \nAs THG Studios continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Managing Director to lead the agency and build on its strong creative, production and technology capabilities. \nThe Role \nThe Managing Director will set the strategic direction for THG Studios and take overall accountability for its growth, commercial performance and market position. \nWith full P&L ownership, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable revenue and profit growth, developing the agency’s proposition and identifying new opportunities across existing clients, new business and strategic partnerships. \nYou will lead and support the senior leadership team, including the Group Creative Director, General Managers and Client Partners. You will also play an active role in senior client relationships, major pitches, strategic opportunities and escalated matters. \nThis role requires a proven leader from the creative, production, content or agency sector who understands how to grow a successful business. You will need to combine commercial focus with creative ambition, strong operational discipline and the ability to build a high-performing team. \nKey Responsibilities \nStrategy and growth \nSet the strategic direction for THG Studios and lead the delivery of its growth plan. \nIdentify new markets, sectors, services, partnerships and revenue opportunities. \nDevelop and strengthen THG Studios’ agency proposition and competitive position. \nBuild on the agency’s existing capabilities to increase its value to clients and unlock new commercial opportunities. \nEnsure growth plans are focused, measurable and aligned with the businesses wider objectives. \nCommercial and P&L ownership \nTake full ownership of the THG Studios P&L and deliver agreed revenue and profit targets. \nDrive sustainable growth across existing client accounts, new business and strategic partnerships. \nEnsure strong commercial discipline across pricing, margins, forecasting and client profitability. \nMake informed decisions about investment in people, technology and capabilities to support growth. \nMonitor commercial performance and take action where performance is not on track. \nClient leadership and new business \nBe ultimately accountable for client retention, account growth and new business performance. \nLead and support the Client Partners and Business Development team, who will manage day-to-day client and new business activity. \nMaintain senior relationships with key clients and become involved in strategic accounts, major opportunities and escalated matters. \nSupport or lead significant pitches, tenders, negotiations and partnership opportunities. \nEnsure the agency is consistently identifying opportunities to increase its share of client spend. \nLeadership and market position \nSet clear strategic priorities, accountabilities and measures of success across the agency. \nEnsure the leadership team is aligned behind the growth strategy and equipped to deliver it. \nBuild a high-performing, commercially focused culture centred on growth, creativity and client value. \nRaise the profile of THG Studios within the creative, production and wider marketing industry. \nRepresent THG Studios with senior clients, partners and stakeholders. \nBuild relationships that strengthen the agency’s reputation, reach and access to new opportunities. \nAbout You \nYou will be an experienced senior leader from a creative agency, production company, content business, media organisation or related environment, with a proven track record of delivering growth. You will have experience of: \nGrowing revenue and profitability across an agency, production or creative services business. \nDeveloping and delivering a clear growth strategy, with evidence of achieving measurable results. \nWinning new clients, expanding existing accounts and increasing share of client spend. \nIdentifying new markets, services, partnerships and commercial opportunities. \nBuilding or repositioning an agency proposition to strengthen its competitive position. \nTaking full P&L ownership and making sound commercial decisions around pricing, margins, investment and profitability. \nLeading senior teams through periods of growth, change or business development. \nBuilding strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders. \nLeading major pitches, tenders, negotiations and strategic partnerships. \nUnderstanding the creative and production market, including changing client expectations, technology and new ways of working. \nCombining commercial ambition with a strong understanding of creative quality and client value. \nCommunicating a clear vision and bringing people with you. \nYou will be commercially ambitious, credible and confident, with the energy and judgement to identify opportunities, convert them into growth and build a sustainable, high-performing business. \nTHG Ingenuity is proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
