Our capabilities include AutoStore, Libiao and Geek+ robotics, supported by our own WMS/WCS/OMS platforms.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Solutions Engineer, you will design innovative, scalable and commercially viable warehouse and fulfilment solutions for THG Fulfil’s enterprise clients.\nWorking closely with customers, commercial teams, operations, engineering and technology specialists, you will translate complex operational requirements into practical warehouse designs that optimise capacity, throughput, productivity and cost efficiency.\nYou will develop end-to-end solutions incorporating warehouse layouts, material flows, storage strategies, automation technologies and systems integration. The role will support both third-party automation opportunities and wider 3PL proposals, including the transition of enterprise customers into THG Fulfil facilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nWarehouse Solution Design\nDesign end-to-end warehouse and fulfilment solutions for complex enterprise customers, from initial concept through to detailed proposals.\nDevelop warehouse layouts, storage strategies, material flows, picking methodologies and operational processes.\nEvaluate and incorporate automation technologies, including AutoStore, Libiao and Geek+ robotics, based on customer requirements.\nAssess capacity, throughput, labour requirements and operational constraints to ensure solutions are scalable and deliverable.\nCustomer Engagement & Requirements\nWork with enterprise customers to understand operational requirements, order profiles, volumes, growth plans and service-level expectations.\nLead site visits, operational assessments and discovery workshops to gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.\nTranslate customer needs into clear technical specifications and tailored fulfilment solutions.\nModelling & Commercial Analysis\nDevelop capacity plans, throughput models and operational resource requirements using customer data.\nSupport solution simulations, cost modelling and ROI analysis to demonstrate the benefits of proposed solutions.\nWork with commercial teams to ensure designs are technically feasible, cost-effective and commercially viable.\nProposals & Cross-Functional Collaboration\nProduce technical solution proposals incorporating warehouse layouts, process flows, automation configurations and supporting financial analysis.\nPresent solutions to customer stakeholders and support tenders, RFPs and complex sales processes.\nCollaborate with operations, engineering, software and implementation teams to validate designs and ensure successful delivery.\nDefine integration requirements across THG Fulfil’s WMS/WCS/OMS platforms and automated warehouse equipment.\nSkills & Experience Required\nProven experience in warehouse solutions design, logistics engineering, intralogistics, automation engineering or supply chain solutions.\nExperience designing warehouse or fulfilment solutions for large-scale or complex operations.\nStrong understanding of warehouse processes, including storage, replenishment, picking, packing, sortation and dispatch.\nKnowledge of warehouse automation, including robotics, automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyors or goods-to-person solutions.\nExperience with warehouse layouts, capacity planning, throughput modelling and operational analysis.\nCommercial awareness, including experience supporting cost models, ROI calculations and customer proposals.\nUnderstanding of WMS, WCS and OMS platforms and their integration with warehouse automation.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly to technical and commercial stakeholders.\nDesirable: Experience within 3PL, contract logistics or e-commerce fulfilment, with exposure to AutoStore, Libiao, Geek+ or warehouse design and simulation tools.\n$100,000 - $140,000\nTHG Ingenuity is proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
