You’ll contribute to modern headless ecommerce applications using JavaScript and work closely with senior engineers while also providing onsite technology support to employees at our New York office.\nThis role offers the opportunity to grow your frontend engineering career while using your existing IT support experience to make an immediate impact.\nAs Junior Frontend Engineer & Technology Support, you’ll: \nFrontend Engineering\nBuild and maintain frontend applications using JavaScript/ES6+ and frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.\nContribute to fast, scalable, secure, and accessible headless ecommerce experiences.\nWork with senior engineers to understand system architecture, APIs, data structures, and how different systems communicate.\nContribute to frontend performance, accessibility, security, and observability.\nWrite clean, maintainable code and follow development standards and best practices.\nParticipate in code reviews and pair programming.\nWork with UX, CRO, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver new features and improvements.\nDevelop your knowledge of headless ecommerce, SSG, APIs, and GraphQL.\nHelp create intuitive, inclusive user experiences.\nStay curious about new technologies, share ideas, and continue developing your technical skills.\nTechnology & IT Support\nProvide hands-on onsite technology support to employees.\nTroubleshoot laptops, desktops, applications, and operating systems.\nSupport Dell/Windows and macOS environments.\nSupport Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.\nAssist with device enrollment, configuration, replacements, onboarding, and offboarding.\nProvide support for Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Okta\nTroubleshoot authentication issues and escalate more complex issues\nProvide basic Wi-Fi and network troubleshooting.\nSupport meeting rooms, AV, video conferencing, and workplace technology.\nAssist employees with workplace technologies, including corporate printing.\nMaintain technical documentation and asset records.\nProvide excellent employee onboarding/offboarding support for tech\nWork closely with global Technology teams, including colleagues in the UK.\nWhat skills and experience do I need for this role? \n3-4 years of experience in desktop support, end-user IT, service desk, or onsite technology support.\nStrong hands-on troubleshooting experience across laptops, desktops, applications, and peripherals.\nExperience supporting Dell/Windows and macOS.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft 365.\nExperience or exposure to Entra ID and Intune.\nExperience supporting Okta or a similar authentication platform.\nBasic networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi and TCP/IP.\nExperience with meeting rooms, AV, video conferencing, device management, and onboarding/offboarding.\nStrong communication and customer service skills.\nFrontend Experience\nSome experience building frontend applications through professional experience, internships, university, bootcamp, personal projects, or open-source contributions.\nGood working knowledge of JavaScript, including vanilla JavaScript and ES6+.\nExperience with or exposure to React, Vue, or a similar frontend framework.\nUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, APIs, and modern web development.\nUnderstanding of core programming concepts, including events, error handling, inheritance, and asynchronous programming.\nAwareness of web accessibility and WCAG principles.\nInterest in headless ecommerce, SSG, GraphQL, frontend performance, and modern web technologies.\nAbout You\nYou enjoy both building technology and helping people solve technology problems.\nYou’re comfortable working with senior engineers, asking questions, learning new technologies, and sharing ideas.
