These values shape how we work every day.\nWhy be a People Advisor for THG Nutrition Manufacturing? \nAs a People Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering a proactive and hands-on people service across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll take ownership of core Employee Relations cases, providing clear, pragmatic guidance to managers on areas such as absence, performance, and employee wellbeing.\nYou’ll coach and influence managers to build strong people management capability, supporting performance, engagement, and development across the site. From delivering training and supporting inductions to driving a positive and inclusive culture, you’ll help embed best practice at every level.\nAs a People Advisor for Nutrition Manufacturing you’ll: \nEmployee Relations\nTake responsibility for the management of all core ER cases across business areas including all sickness cases, flexible working requests, performance management plans, probations, grievance and disciplinary processes.\nWelfare / Occupational Health referral / Risk Assessments / Amended duties / Capability processes\nProvide advice and guidance to colleagues and managers as required\nLiaise with the People Business Partner to ensure appropriate support is provided to THG on complex ER issues\nChampion the development of people management skills across the Group.\nManagement of Parental Leave across business areas.\nPerformance Management\nCoach and influence managers from a people perspective, developing their people management/leadership skills and constructively challenging inappropriate behaviours/actions\nEnsure all cases of formal performance management are documented and recorded in line with internal audit requirements\nEngagement & Development\nSupport with creation and roll out of engagement activities\nDevelop Managers and colleagues in coaching skills and our people processes\nSupport the delivery of the local induction as required\nDelivery of HR module training to internal management team\nSupport positive ED&I culture within the wider team\nStakeholder partnerships\nWork closely with wider People Team (including HR Shared Services, Payroll and the People Data team) to ensure an accurate and timely input of all payroll information on to the system in line with deadlines\nProvide advice and guidance to staff and managers and work with them to ensure they follow processes and procedures\nData Analysis\nAttrition analysis\nExit Interviews and associated action planning\nFollowing up on data trends coming out of KPI pack\nWhat skills and experience do I need for this role? \nAt least two years HR experience (Ideally within Manufacturing)\nIdeally experience advising managers and stakeholders on HR policies and procedures\nExperience managing high volume of casework\nER knowledge\nStrong technical skills and a good working knowledge of current employment legislation\nStrong listening and problem-solving skills\nStrong relationship building skills\nAbility to analyse data and summarise key findings\nGood communication and data presentation skills\nCapable of working using your own initiative\nFlexible and adaptable\nLevel 3 or 5 CIPD qualification would be advantageous, but not essential\nWhat’s in it for me?\nCareer Development\nAccess bespoke development programmes that have been designed and developed by our in-house L&D team.\nContinued development through our upskilling programme that is delivered in partnership with an industry-leading training provider\nExposure to a broad range of HR activities, projects and stakeholders across the business.\nOpportunities to develop your Employee Relations, analytics and business partnering capabilities.\nEnhanced Leave\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.\nDon’t want to work on your birthday?
