As a leader in prestige beauty e-commerce, we bridge the gap between clinical expertise and a premium shopping experience.\nWe are looking for a creative, trend-focused, and highly collaborative Social Media Associate to help shape and execute Dermstore’s digital voice. In this role, you will be the engine behind our social platforms, owning content creation from initial concept through to final execution. This is a critical role for someone who lives and breathes social media, possesses strong storytelling instincts, and knows how to translate beauty trends into engaging, high-performing content that resonates with our community.\nAs Social Media Associate, you’ll: \nConcept, script, create and execute social-first beauty content across platforms, owning the process from ideation through filming, editing and publishing\nWrite and refine social copy, including captions and short-form video scripts, ensuring alignment with brand voice, platform trends, and campaign goals\nMonitor and identify emerging social trends and translate them into timely, on-brand content opportunities\nLead and support content capture during shoots, ensuring social-first needs are met\nCollaborate on social calendars and campaign planning, contributing creative ideas that align with broader marketing initiatives\nSet and deliver to production milestones and timelines while working within cross-functional stakeholder requirements\nAnalyze content performance and apply insights to optimize future content and improve engagement\nPartner with creative, brand, and marketing teams to develop cohesive, impactful social content\nComfortable occasionally stepping in front of the camera for content when needed, but primarily focused on directing and capturing content behind the scenes\nWhat skills and experience do I need for this role? \n2-4 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing\nDeep understanding of social platforms, trends, and internet culture\nStrong video editing and content creation skills, with specific expertise in short-form video\nExperience using social media management and measurement platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Dash Hudson) preferred\nStrong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, and multiple campaigns simultaneously\nProven ability to ideate and execute engaging, high-performing social content\nComfortable being on camera and acting as a brand voice\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nKnowledge of skincare, beauty, hair, and cosmetics trends preferred\nEntrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach \nWhat’s in it for me? \nSalary: $70,000 - $80,000\nHybrid Work Model - 3 days office/2 days home\nMedical, Dental, Vision plans\n401K matched up to 5%\nGenerous PTO (Paid Time Off)\nShort and long-term disability\nExclusive employee discounts off THG Brands\nTHG is proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
