You will work closely with families to understand each child’s learning needs, communicate learning progress, and help families identify the right programs for their children.\nThis is not a teaching-only role. We are looking for someone who enjoys both working with children in the classroom and building relationships with parents and families. For candidates interested in building a long-term career in education, this role provides exposure to both the academic and business sides of an education center, with opportunities to grow into roles such as Lead Teacher, Academic Manager, Program Manager, or Center Leadership.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTeaching & Academic Responsibilities\nTeach engaging, interactive ELA, phonics, early literacy, reading, vocabulary, and speaking classes for children ages 3-6.\nUse stories, games, movement, visuals, and hands-on activities to help young learners develop foundational English skills.\nPrepare lessons and classroom materials based on Think Academy’s curriculum and teaching standards.\nCommunicate regularly with parents about students’ classroom performance, progress, and areas for improvement.\nParticipate in teacher training, lesson preparation, curriculum discussions, and teaching-quality reviews.\nEnrollment & Education Operations\nBuild strong relationships with prospective and current families.\nConduct student assessments, trial classes, learning consultations, and other enrollment-related activities.\nHelp parents understand their child’s learning needs and recommend appropriate courses and learning pathways.\nSupport student enrollment, retention, and re-enrollment initiatives.\nCollaborate with teaching, operations, and enrollment teams to create an excellent student and parent experience.\nSupport additional center operations and growth initiatives as needed.\nRequirements & Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or above from a U.S. college or university.\nOpen to all majors; backgrounds in English, English Language Arts, Literacy, Education, Early Childhood Education, History, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related fields are strongly preferred.\nNative-level fluency in spoken and written English, with clear pronunciation and strong communication skills.\nGenuine enthusiasm for working with children ages 3-6.\nEnergetic, expressive, patient, and comfortable leading an interactive classroom.\nStrong sense of responsibility; dependable and committed to delivering high-quality instruction.\nComfortable communicating directly with parents and participating in enrollment and student-retention activities.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nWeekend availability is required, including Saturdays and/or Sundays.\nMust be authorized to work in the United States.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience working with young children in a school, preschool, after-school program, learning center, summer camp, or similar environment.\nPrevious experience as an English/ELA/phonics tutor, teaching assistant, classroom teacher, or reading instructor.\nFamiliarity with early literacy development, phonemic awareness, phonics instruction, or early childhood learning.\nExperience communicating with parents or families in an educational setting is a plus.\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive full-time compensation 72,000～85,000 for 1st year\nMedical insurance and 401(k), subject to eligibility and company policy\nStructured onboarding and professional teacher training\nOngoing coaching and career development\nHands-on experience across teaching, enrollment, and education operations\nCareer advancement opportunities within Think Academy In Person Silicon Valley Team\nThink Academy is an equal opportunity employer.
