spot cleaning, vacuuming and shampooing carpets.\nFurniture dusting, trash removal, window washing, and disinfect equipment.\nSanitize restrooms, sweeping, weed pulling; rubbish removal; and pressuring washing walls and concrete walkways.\nReports safety hazards to the department supervisor.\nOther related duties as assigned.\nEducation/Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum one to three years working experience or schooling in related field.\nMust have knowledge of cleaning chemicals.\nMust have knowledge of operating various janitorial equipment.\nMust have knowledge of floor care.\nSkill:\nMust be hands-on and can adapt quickly to different situations.\nOperates with minimal supervision and able to follow complex verbal and/or written work instructions.\nPerform jobs independently or as a team.\nPerform all duties in a safe, efficient, and cost effective manner.\nCertifications/Licenses: \nValid CA driver license preferred.\nCertifications in floor care maintenance preferred.\n\nPhysical Analysis\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions:\nStanding, walking, or sitting for up to 7 hours. \nLifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.\nClimbing, balancing, bending, crawling, and twisting required.\nFinger and manual dexterity required.\nWork inside and outside required.\nWork along and with others required.\nEnvironment/Element Exposure:\nVibrations, hazards (physical), fumes, dust, and odors: occasionally.\nChemicals: Yes\nExtreme cold, heat, wet or humid conditions: occasionally.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAble to work with a diversified population and people with barriers to employment. \nAble to work efficiently, safely, and in a cost-effective manner.\nAble to follow directions with minimal instruction and supervision.\n\nCore Competencies:\nTo perform the job successfully an individual should demonstrate the following competencies;\nCleaning, Sanitation, & Facility Standards - Ensures all areas are cleaned and sanitized according to company and industry standards, including restrooms, floors, and high-traffic areas.\nLeadership & Talent Development - Clearly explains technical issues and repair plans; listens actively; communicates professionally with coworkers, vendors, and clients, even in emotionally charged situations.\nEthics & Integrity - Demonstrates integrity and alignment with Goodwill’s core values;
