The Tutor is responsible for providing part-time, high-quality support and tutorial services to students, grades K-8, The High Dosage Tutor will provide academic support and promote student achievement. The work schedules are subject to change in accordance with the needs of Think Together.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDeliver daily small group, targeted academic support leveraging research-based curriculum. \nSupports students in an instructional setting, maintaining high standards for behavior and safety. \nFollow and implement consistent tutoring lessons with complete fidelity. \nCollect student mastery data using assessments and track student results. \nBuild positive, caring, and achievement-focused relationships with students. \nSupport consistent student routines and procedures to maximize instructional time. \nEngage in pre-service and ongoing training and professional development. \nUse common communication tools and systems to track student progress and performance. \nServe as a positive role model for youth in the program through appropriate dress, speech, attitude, and courtesy. \nCreate an environment that fosters a sense of belonging. \nProvide experience for youth with an emphasis on enriching their school experience and their outlook on life. \nMaintain accurate paperwork including sign-in/sign-out sheets for each class session. \nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nArrive punctually in order to meet responsibilities in site start up and assignments. \nMaintain clean classroom and facility space. \nMaintain highest degree of confidentiality in student and staff matters. \nComply with organization and site policies and follows procedures. \nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.
