Each year, we also encourage our people to spend a month exploring the world, whether that means working from another office or even from the beaches of Mexico, to expand their perspectives and bring fresh inspiration back to the team.\nThe Opportunity\nWe're looking for a talented Art Director with a strong design background to join our creative team in Vancouver.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who started their career as a Designer and has grown into an Art Director, or a strong Senior Designer who's ready to take that next step.\nYou'll work on exciting, visually driven campaigns and creative projects, bringing ideas to life across digital, social, and integrated channels. We're looking for someone who can think conceptually but also loves getting into the details of design, from typography and layout to visual storytelling and execution.\nAn interest in gaming, fantasy, pop culture, or collectible card games is a big plus. You'll have the opportunity to work on projects that speak to passionate fan communities, so an appreciation for the creativity and culture behind these worlds would be an asset.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nConcept and art direct creative campaigns across digital, social, content, and integrated platforms.\nDevelop strong visual concepts, design directions, and creative ideas from initial brief through final execution.\nStay hands-on with design, creating layouts, key visuals, mood boards, and polished creative assets.\nCollaborate with Copywriters, Designers, Creative Directors, Strategists, and Producers to bring ideas to life.\nHelp establish and maintain a cohesive visual direction across campaigns and deliverables.\nTranslate creative briefs into engaging, visually compelling work that connects with audiences and fan communities.\nPresent creative concepts and design rationale to internal teams and clients.\nProvide thoughtful feedback and guidance to other Designers while maintaining a high standard of creative craft.\nExplore new visual styles, design trends, and creative approaches to keep the work fresh and relevant.\nBalance multiple projects and deadlines without compromising creativity or attention to detail. \nWhat You'll Bring\n5+ years of experience in design and creative roles, ideally within an advertising, digital, or creative agency.\nA strong foundation in graphic design, with a career path rooted in hands-on design work.\nA portfolio showcasing exceptional visual craft, conceptual thinking, and art direction across digital, social, or integrated campaigns.\nStrong skills in typography, composition, colour, layout, and visual storytelling.\nProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.\nExperience with Figma is a plus.\nThe ability to develop big creative ideas while also executing the design work needed to bring them to life.\nExperience working collaboratively with Copywriters and other creative disciplines.\nA strong understanding of how creative ideas translate across different formats and platforms.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative thinking clearly.\nA collaborative attitude, curiosity, and a genuine passion for design and creativity.\nBonus Points\nExperience playing Magic: The Gathering is a plus.\nExperience working with gaming, entertainment, fantasy, or pop culture brands.\nAn interest in trading card games, tabletop gaming, fantasy worlds, collectibles, or gaming communities.\nExperience creating visually rich, illustration-led, or highly stylized campaign work.\nFamiliarity with fan-driven marketing, product launches, or community-focused campaigns.\nExperience with motion design, animation, or collaborating closely with motion teams.\nA passion for storytelling, world-building, and creating work that resonates with dedicated audiences.\nAdditional Info\nMonday -
