The Corporate Controller will oversee all accounting activities across multiple manufacturing facilities and distribution operations while partnering closely with operations, supply chain, manufacturing leadership, sales, marketing, product development, IT, D&A and executive management to support continued growth and operational excellence.\nEssential Job Functions: \nFinancial Accounting & Reporting\nLead all corporate accounting activities and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.\nDirect the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across main manufacturing locations including subsidiary roll up.\nCoordinate annual insurance renewals, policy administration, insurance audits, and the preparation and submission of financial and operational documentation required by insurance carriers, brokers, auditors, and regulatory agencies.\nLead the annual budgeting processes across all manufacturing and corporate functions, coordinating with department and plant leadership to develop accurate budgets, analyze variances, and ensure achievement of organizational financial objectives.\nProvide accounting support for preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements, management reporting packages, and supporting schedules.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures consistent with GAAP and industry best practices.\nOversee account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and general ledger integrity.\nManage external financial statement audits and coordinate audit requirements across locations.\n\nTax Compliance, Filings & Regulatory Reporting\nOversee and coordinate all federal, state, and local tax compliance activities in partnership with the Company's external tax advisors and public accounting firm.\nManage the collection, validation, and submission of financial data required by outside accounting firms for income tax, sales and use tax, franchise tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory filings.\nCoordinate and oversee all federal, state, and local tax payments, ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines and regulatory requirements.\nManage estimated tax payment calculations and related remittances based on guidance provided by external tax advisors.\nMonitor tax account balances, notices, audits, examinations, and inquiries from taxing authorities.\nMaintain schedules supporting tax provisions, tax payments, tax accruals, and deferred tax balances as required.\n\nAccounting Operations Leadership\nProvide leadership and oversight for:\nAccounts Receivable\nAccounts Payable\nPayroll\nGeneral Ledger Accounting\nFixed Assets and Cap Ex.\nTreasury and Cash Management Support\nEnsure efficient execution of transaction processing activities while maintaining strong internal controls.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting workflows and leverage technology.\n\nInternal Controls & Compliance\nEstablish and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets.\nEnsure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.\nEvaluate financial and operational risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.\nSupport tax compliance activities and coordinate with external tax advisors.\nDevelop and strengthen financial governance across all facilities.\n\nLeadership & Business Partnership\nLead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\nServe as a key business partner to operations, manufacturing, human resources, and executive leadership.\nParticipate in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.\nAct as a trusted advisor to the Vice President of Finance on accounting, financial reporting, and operational matters.\n\nTraining: Provided on the job and supplemented with external seminars/classes.\nQualifications: \n Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA is preferred\n Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience; experience in manager role; solid accounting skills; background in / understanding of US GAAP reporting fundamentals\nKey Competencies: Self-motivated and results driven, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving, ability to multi-task, high degree of integrity and confidentiality, initiative with decision making, teamwork and cooperation\nPhysical Requirements: Long periods of sitting or standing at an individual work station, heavy computer work \nWorking Conditions: Temperature-regulated office environment;
