The ideal candidate is a self-directed engineer who enjoys solving complex data challenges, establishing technical standards, and building scalable solutions that enable both current analytics needs and future AI capabilities.\nThis is a long-term, W-2 contract opportunity with potential for conversion to full-time with our Fortune 50 client, based on performance and business needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and build scalable data models and transformation frameworks\nDevelop and maintain data pipelines in BigQuery and Dataform (or dbt)\nImplement Medallion-style data architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Semantic layers)\nImprove data quality, documentation, governance, and development standards\nMigrate and modernize legacy ETL processes and workflows\nReview code, enforce best practices, and support analytics teams through scalable data solutions\nPartner with technical stakeholders to create a foundation for future AI and ML initiatives\nRequirements\n5+ years of data engineering experience in production environments\nStrong SQL and data modeling expertise\nExperience with BigQuery, Dataform, dbt, or similar cloud data platforms\nPython development experience\nExperience with AI, LLM, MCP, or agent-based technologies\nExperience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines\nStrong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse design\nExperience with Git, code reviews, and modern development practices\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables\nNice to Have >>\nRetail, e-commerce, or digital analytics experience\n_________________________\nCome join our exceptional team of passionate and professional individuals dedicated to delivering outstanding results.
