You'll help us create the systems, processes and controls that keep work flowing, support colleagues to perform at their best and ensure we're delivering a professional, efficient and customer-focused service.\nYou'll oversee workflow and case progression, support performance and resource management, manage relationships with external legal providers and use data to identify opportunities for improvement. You'll also help us embed the practice management disciplines that underpin a successful legal service, creating greater visibility, consistency and accountability across the team.\nThis isn't about changing things for the sake of it. You'll be expected to spend 2-3 days per week working from our fantastic Hudson Quay office in Middlesbrough, with the remainder of your time working from home. You’ll implement consistent processes and self-service tools templates that support compliance, reduce risk and improve accountability.\nLead and develop a team of 4 across legal operations and home ownership. You'll bring together people, processes, systems and insight to help us work more effectively. \nImprove legal case progression and service performance to remove bottlenecks and delays and develop a more responsive and customer-focused service. \nManage and monitor the performance, quality and value for money of external legal providers. \nUse data, reporting and insight to drive decision-making, providing clear performance information to support effective resource and service planning. \nAbout You:\nWe're looking for an experienced operational leader who understands the important role that strong practice management plays in delivering effective legal services.\nYou'll have experience leading operational teams and improving services in a legal, regulatory, governance, compliance or similarly complex environment.\nYou'll understand legal workflows, case progression and the operational factors that influence performance, customer experience and risk.\nYou'll be comfortable managing competing priorities, allocating resources effectively and keeping work moving.\nYou'll have experience using data, reporting and insight to identify trends, solve problems and drive improvement.\nYou'll be confident building relationships and working with a wide range of stakeholders.\nYou'll enjoy bringing structure, consistency and clarity to complex services.\nYou'll be excited by the opportunity to build on what's already working, while introducing practical improvements that make the service more efficient, transparent and customer focused.\nWhy Thirteen\nAt Thirteen, we work together to provide quality homes, build stronger communities, and support people to live well.
