We’re building a future where nutritious, sustainable food is accessible, craveable, and part of everyday life\nAbout the Role\nReporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of production processes, managing a team of Production Leads and Associates. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role ensures the seamless execution of plating and packaging meals, snacks, and beverages while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.\nHow You’ll Make a Difference\nLead and mentor a team to meet production goals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nConduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and identify training opportunities to enhance productivity, KPI achievement, and attendance.\nEnsure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to uphold product quality and compliance.\nImplement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, ensuring consistent execution across production teams.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Culinary and Facilities, to ensure smooth operations and compliance with organizational standards.\nMonitor the accuracy of manifests, documentation, and weight specifications to meet production requirements.\nOversee and verify proper handling of production handoffs, materials, and packaging components.\nDrive initiatives to achieve production accuracy targets of 97% or higher and maintain zero allergy-related errors through strict adherence to Allergy SOPs.\nEnsure efficient line clearance, proper disposal of compost, and adherence to Plate Production protocols.\nMaintain accuracy and accountability in packing operations, driving pack errors to meet or exceed OKR goals.\nEnsure all packing processes, including cleaning and organizing shipping boxes, meet operational standards.\nEnforce allergy compliance protocols to maintain zero incidents.\nLead weekly safety meetings to communicate policy updates and ensure OSHA compliance.\nConduct internal QA audits in collaboration with the QA team to maintain the highest safety and quality standards.\nQualifications\nWho You Are\nA high school diploma is required\nProven experience in production or manufacturing supervision, with a strong emphasis on quality control and operational efficiency.\nExcellent leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.\nComprehensive knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and OSHA compliance standards.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and processes.\nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, to influence and align teams toward achieving production goals.\nA results-driven mindset with a passion for process improvement and achieving operational excellence.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and focus.\nA collaborative approach, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.\nOur Culture\nDiversity, equity, and inclusion are essential values at Thistle.
