Full-time role in Thika.\n\nRef No. HR/MLS/05-2026\n\nJob Grade: 7\n\nJob Purpose:\n\nTo provide independent, risk-based assurance and advisory services on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the Company’s information systems, IT governance, risk management and internal controls.\n\nThe Internal Auditor Information (Systems) will report to the Chief Manager, Internal Audit\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\n\nParticipate in identification of key information systems risks [including IT projects], evaluate and test controls and make recommendations for improvement.\n\nFormulate risk-based engagement plans including audit programmes for IS audits.\n\nPerform audits in conformance to audit procedures, methodology, GIAS 2024 and comply with policies and procedures.\n\nDocument working workings on audit tests carried oute)\n\nPrepare audit reports and carry out audit follow up for past audit recommendations.Carry out ad hoc special assignments and investigations\n\nParticipate in preparation of Annual Audit Work Plans (AAWPs) with a key focus on information systems.\n\nCoordinate documentation of audit findings to ensure they are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstance and risk with requisite recommendations for improvements.\n\nImplement and monitor utilization of audit management system, data analytics tool and any other system that may be used by Internal Auditors\n\nEnsure audit assignments are conducted on a timely basis.\n\nSupervise auditors assigned to engagements providing guidance and overall review of deliverables.\n\nProvide advisory/consultancy support across the Company.\n\nRequired Qualifications Experience and Skills\n\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, IT, or equivalent\n\nCertified information system Auditor (CISA)\n\nCertified Internal Auditor (CIA) – Added advantage\n\nMembership of ISACA – Mandatory\n\nAt least 3 years work
