The focus of this position is the reviewing and auditing of final breakdowns. High level of attention to detail in writing is required; proofreading or editing skill set is a plus. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of personnel in the firm. Must appreciate high volume in a fast-paced environment. The Breakdown Auditor will perform general accounting tasks as necessary.\nEssential Functions:\nReviews and audits all breakdowns before client checks are written.\nMust comply with required performance metrics.\nCreate and/or maintain meticulous records, spreadsheets, and files. \nAnalyze and complete final settlement breakdowns. \nMeet deadlines. \nEnsures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.\nVerifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.\nStrong communication with attorneys is required to complete audits when errors are discovered. \nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.\nOther duties as assigned.\nCompetencies:\nExcellent
