This position supports the execution of departmental priorities and manages recurring processes related to insurance, OCIP, claims, litigation support, compliance, reporting, and cross-functional risk support. The Risk Manager serves as an operational liaison among internal departments, brokers, carriers, outside counsel, vendors, and other advisors, and escalates strategic, material, or high-risk matters to the Vice President.\nDAY IN THE LIFE:\nAdminister day-to-day Risk Department operations by managing recurring deadlines, workflow coordination, documentation practices, tracking tools, reporting processes, and follow-through on assigned departmental priorities.\nCoordinate operational insurance processes, including renewals, exposure data collection, certificates of insurance, policy schedules, audits, OCIP administration, bonds and surety requests, workers' compensation support, and broker or carrier requests.\nAdminister claims and matter management processes, including claims reporting, legal and claims trackers, self-insured retentions, warranty spend, matter status reporting, document requests, and legal holds.\nSupport compliance, licensing, construction risk, and related cross-functional risk processes.\nProvide risk-related support to internal business partners, including Legal, Finance, People Success, Purchasing, Construction, and Sales.\nPrepare, maintain, and distribute recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED:\nBachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, Legal Studies, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance, claims, compliance, legal operations, construction, real estate, or related business operations.\nHomebuilding, construction, real estate development, broker, carrier, vendor, or claims administration experience preferred.\nARM, CPCU, CRM, CIC, or similar risk, insurance, claims, or compliance certification preferred.\nWHAT WILL SET YOU APART:\nDemonstrated ownership of both data collection and analysis processes\nDemonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.\nProven ability to work with complex, multi-source datasets and reconcile inconsistencies.\nFriendly attitude that works well with others. \n#LI-Hybrid #LI-MB1\nThe compensation range for this role is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
