The Expert Software Engineer collaborates with engineering teams and stakeholders, mentors peers, and drives innovation through continuous learning and application of best practices.\nJob Duties\nDesign complex, scalable systems; review code; maintain technical documentation and diagrams ensuring best practices.\nResolve challenging issues; optimize performance and reliability; lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement.\nBuild cloud-native solutions; support CI/CD, automation, containerization; collaborate on infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.\nApply security best practices; mitigate risks; ensure compliance with standards and regulations.\nPartner with stakeholders to deliver solutions; manage vendor integrations and technical evaluations.\nMentor engineers; share expertise; foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning culture.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or \nHigh School Diploma/GED and 10 years preferred work experience. \n7 years in software development, including experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms. \nExpert proficiency in programming languages and API development (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript; REST/gRPC) with strong understanding of architectural patterns and system design. \nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). \nExpertise in databases (SQL and NoSQL) and advanced data management practices. \nDeep knowledge of security principles, authentication, authorization, and compliance best practices. \nHands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and logging (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Splunk). \nStrong collaboration, communication, advanced analytical problem-solving skills, and ability to mentor and support engineering teams. \nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field \n10 years with a track record of solving complex technical challenges and mentoring engineers. \nPhysical Demands\nLift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.\nJob Description Disclaimer: This position description provides the major duties/responsibilities, requirements and working conditions for the position.
