Proctoring includes delivering the exam, relaying instructions to students, time keeping, maintaining an appropriate testing environment, and facilitating support should a question or problem arise. Proctors are responsible for supervising and monitoring students to ensure academic integrity of the exam. They are also required to manage the testing roster (for NBME sponsored assessments) and responsible for reporting any technical issues or non-standard testing conditions.Job Description\nJob Duties\nInteracts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.\nPrepares room for test administration including: projection of instructions, secure environment, quiet environment\nUses several software programs including ExamSoft’s Examplify, the NBME’s proctors’ portal, Microsoft’s Office 365 and have a working knowledge of Apple’s iOS.\nManages timely starts and closure of exams.\nEnsures a quiet, distraction free environment for the students.
