Your attention to detail and ability to keep information organized will help construction teams operate efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview Project Management and Project Executive correspondence for grammar, spelling, accuracy, and professional presentation\nPrepare final drafts of project correspondence and route documents for signature\nCreate and maintain organized electronic and hard-copy construction project files\nSupport transmittals, submittals, and submittal log maintenance\nAssist with issuing and tracking subcontracts and purchase orders\nMaintain accurate subcontractor tracking logs\nSupport certificate of insurance processes and COI reviews\nObtain, print, and distribute construction drawings and other project documents to subcontractors and material suppliers as required\nObtain weekly job cost reports and PCO logs and organize them for construction team review\nPrepare operations and maintenance manuals for construction projects and coordinate distribution at project completion\nVerify that required documents are current and properly organized before staff review meetings\nSupport construction project closeout and document archiving\nOur Ideal Candidate for this Role\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or GED\nExperience\n2+ years of experience in a clerical or administrative role\nSkills & Attributes\nStrong general office and business administration skills\nProficiency with computers and business software\nStrong grammar, written communication, and document preparation skills\nAbility to follow established instructions and processes while ensuring required actions are completed\nProfessional communication skills when working with team members, subcontractors, and material suppliers\nOrganized, detail-oriented approach to managing construction documents, files, and administrative processes\nInitiative, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting shared project and company goals\nUse of AI in Hiring\nThompson Thrift uses AI-assisted tools within our applicant tracking system to support parts of the recruiting process.
