This role contributes to asset preservation, resident satisfaction, and overall community performance through timely, high-quality maintenance service.\nYour Role as a Maintenance Technician\nAs a Service Technician, you will work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and Community Manager to complete service requests, preventative maintenance, and general repairs. This role plays a key part in maintaining the physical condition of the community while supporting service standards and operational efficiency.\nYou will contribute to a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment while collaborating closely with on-site teams and delivering quality service to residents.\nKey Responsibilities\nComplete service requests in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent issues and ensuring quality resolution\nDiagnose and repair maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general carpentry\nPerform preventative maintenance tasks and support scheduled inspections of building systems and equipment\nAssist with apartment make-readies and unit turnovers to support occupancy and readiness goals\nMaintain accurate documentation of completed work and communicate updates to leadership\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards\nFollow all safety guidelines, including OSHA and company policies\nAssist with vendor coordination and notify leadership when additional support is needed\nParticipate in emergency response efforts and on-call rotations as required\nCommunicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members to support a positive experience\nOur Ideal Candidate for this Role\nEducation\nHigh school diploma, GED, or an equivalent level of education and experience\nExperience & Requirements\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in property maintenance\nFlexibility and availability for on-call duty and emergency repairs\nA valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required for this role for the purpose of on-call emergencies\nMust be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including frequent lifting of 50 to 80 pounds and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation\nGeneral awareness of transparent, upfront communication of rent, fees, and resident services is a plus.
