You will combine strong SQL and software implementation expertise with consulting, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills to deliver projects from discovery through go-live and post-production support.\nThis role is ideal for a detail-oriented, client-focused professional who can understand business requirements, configure and deploy product solutions, conduct testing and training, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with customers and internal teams, including Product Development, Support, Pre-Sales, Sales, and Technology.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end software implementation projects from kickoff through go-live, hypercare, and transition to the support team.\nConduct business requirements workshops to understand customer needs, assess product fitment, and recommend appropriate solutions.\nDesign, configure, develop, test, and deploy software package solutions based on client requirements.\nUse SQL for data analysis, configuration, troubleshooting, validation, and implementation support.\nCollaborate with customers to define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve identified issues.\nSupport production-readiness planning, go-live activities, and post-production support for escalated issues.\nDeliver customer training on product functionality, configuration, and effective system usage.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships and manage key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.\nCreate and maintain project documentation, including requirements, solution designs, test plans, training materials, and handover documents.\nDeliver projects within agreed scope, budget, timelines, and quality expectations.\nApply quality assurance processes, including unit testing, regression testing, system integration testing, and UAT.\nPartner with Pre-Sales and Sales teams on proposals, high-level solution designs, demonstrations, prototypes, and proof-of-concept activities.\nParticipate in consulting engagements such as solution health checks, roadmap workshops, and advisory sessions, as needed.\nCollaborate with internal teams across Product Development, Technology, Support, Pre-Sales, Sales, and Product teams to resolve issues and improve solutions.\nSupport the handover of implemented solutions to product support teams after production deployment.\nTravel to client locations for implementation, workshops, product demonstrations, and related customer-facing activities, as required.\nContribute to practice development, knowledge sharing, competency-building initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.\nUse AI-enabled development and testing tools, where appropriate, to improve delivery efficiency and quality.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with strong exposure to Information Technology and/or Business Management.\n4-10 years of relevant experience in SQL programming, software implementation, product development, technical support, or a related technology consulting role.\nStrong proficiency in SQL, including data analysis, querying, troubleshooting, and supporting software implementations.\nExperience in at least one of the following areas:Software or enterprise product implementationProduct developmentApplication or product supportTechnology consulting\nExperience gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into practical product or solution configurations.\nExperience supporting testing activities, including UAT, system integration testing, regression testing, or unit testing.\nStrong customer-facing consulting, influencing, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.\nStrong planning, organization, documentation, and time-management skills, with close attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver work within defined scope, timelines, and budgets.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nWorking knowledge of project and issue-management tools such as JIRA.\nAbility and willingness to travel to customer locations as business needs require.\nPositive, collaborative mindset and a strong willingness to learn.\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of Global Trade, trade compliance, supply chain processes, or related business domains.\nExperience implementing or supporting large enterprise systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.\nFamiliarity with Thomson Reuters products or relevant competitor products.\nExperience supporting customers in Japan, China, or other Asia-Pacific markets.\nProficiency in additional languages, particularly Japanese and/or Chinese.\nExperience assisting Pre-Sales or Sales teams with proposals, solution design, demonstrations, prototypes, or proof-of-concept engagements.\nExperience conducting consulting engagements such as system health checks, solution assessments, or roadmap workshops.\nFamiliarity with AI tools used for software development, testing, documentation, data analysis, or delivery
