Thomson Reuters is a Canadian information company created in 2008 when the Thomson Corporation acquired the British news and data group Reuters, and it now sells research, workflow software and analytics rather than raw information. Headquartered in Toronto and listed in Toronto and New York, it has invested heavily in generative assistants embedded directly in those professional workflows.
