The Senior Security Platforms Engineer - Endpoint Security plays a critical role in driving security innovation, optimizing existing endpoint solutions, and collaborating with key stakeholders to protect our enterprise systems. Reporting to the Security Platform Team Lead, you'll focus on deploying and maintaining enterprise-grade security infrastructure while designing scalable solutions.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Senior Security Platforms Engineer, you will:

• Architect and implement robust endpoint security solutions, including EDR/EPP, Vulnerability Management, DLPandAI Securityto secure enterprise systems and end-user devices.

• Drive the adoption and integration of tools for endpoint visibility and security, ensuring scalability and operational alignment across cloud and on-premises environments.

• Conduct proof-of-concept testing for new security configurations, policies, and emerging technologies.

• Oversee the administration of endpoint security platforms, ensuring agent health, console performance, and seamless integration into enterprise ecosystems.

• Analyze and troubleshoot security-related issues, agent connectivity disruptions, policy conflicts, and exclusion list management.

• Act as the escalation point for endpoint-related incidents Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, SOC, compliance, and risk management, to align endpoint security policies with organizational goals and regulatory frameworks such asNIST 800-53,PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO27001andorFedRamp

• Champion cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives for IT and incident response personnel, fostering a security-first culture.

• Document playbooks, runbooks, and SOPs for security solutions, including policy configuration, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.

• Conduct knowledge sharing and mentorship for IT teams, incident responders (SOC/CIRT), and other cybersecurity stakeholders.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging endpoint attack tactics and security technologies.

• 5+ years of experience in endpoint security engineering with a strong focus on tools like SentinelOne,CrowdStrike,Rapid7,Qualys, Proofpointand similarand10+ years ofInfrastructureEngineeringexperience.

• Proficiencyin designing and deploying endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, including performance optimization, policy configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Advanced knowledge in Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems, withexpertisein OS-level hardening and policy compliance.

• Strong communicationand collaboration skills to work across IT, DevOps, and Security teams.

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or vendor-specific certifications for endpoint tools (SentinelOne, Qualys, Proofpoint) are a plus.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOX, or CIS benchmarks and an understanding of FedRAMP standards.

• Deployment for containers and workloads (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, Fargate, GKE Autopilot).

• File Integrity Monitoring (FIM).

• Policy Compliance.

• Cloudserviceproviderinfrastructureexperience (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI,etc..)

• Scripting Languages(Shell scripting, Python,PowerShell,Bash,Zsh)
