The candidate will be expected to read and interpret blueprints, select proper tooling, inspect finished parts, and maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nEnsuring safety is always the #1 priority.\nSets up and operates brake press machines in accordance with production specifications and work orders.\nReads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and job instructions.\nSelects proper tooling and dies for each job and adjusts machine settings as needed.\nInspects and measures finished parts for accuracy using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools.\nMonitors machine performance and makes necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.\nPerforms routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.\nMaintains a clean and organized work area.\nFollows all safety guidelines and company procedures.\nMaintains open communication with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.\nMust communicate in a timely and effective manner.\nMust be able to follow directions and complete follow through with directions.\nQualifications and Skills:\nOne or more years of experience operating a brake press or other metal-forming equipment preferred.\nAbility to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.\nMechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.\nBasic math skills and understanding of measurements.\nWillingness to work overtime or different shifts if required.\nWork Environment\nManufacturing plant environment with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment.\nUse of PPE in production settings required.\nOccasional lifting, bending, repetitive motion, and extended standing/walking.\nOff-shift, overtime, or weekend support may be required.\nCompensation &
