As a Security Guard, you'll play a vital role in protecting our people, facilities, and operations. This position combines active patrols, security monitoring, emergency response, and collaboration across departments to help maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. We're looking for someone who is observant, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional service while responding confidently to security and safety needs.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nMonitor employee foot traffic and verify employee badges upon entry and exit while following established security protocols.\nFollow all assigned post orders, both general and site-specific.\nConduct routine patrols of the building and surrounding property to help maintain a safe and secure environment.\nMonitor thermostatic controls to maintain specified temperatures in designated areas.\nMonitor CCTV camera systems and respond appropriately to observed activity.\nPartner with Human Resources on potential threat situations as identified.\nMonitor parking lot activity, including during swing shift, with heightened attention at the beginning and end of shifts when visibility is limited.\nRespond promptly and in accordance with established protocols to unauthorized entries/exits and security-related emergencies.\nIdentify and report safety and security concerns, including fire hazards, water leaks, and unsecured doors, following established procedures.\nCoordinate with first responders during emergencies as appropriate.\nParticipate in periodic safety and security audits, inspections, and emergency drills.\nMaintain clear and timely communication with the Security Supervisor regarding incidents, concerns, and operational issues.\nFollow the appropriate chain of command for notifications and incident reporting.\nBuild positive working relationships by interacting with employees and other departments in a professional and supportive manner.\nContribute as an engaged member of a high-performing team by promoting collaboration and fostering a positive work environment.\nBe available to work weekends and holidays as required.\nWork varying shifts as needed to support the company's security objectives.\nWHAT YOU NEED\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\n0-2 years of security experience preferred.
