THOR Solutions is a government contractor operating primarily in the Navy, Coast Guard, and other DoD/Federal spaces. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading opportunity capture and proposal writing efforts, working with existing THOR BD personnel and other internal and external stakeholders. Working for THOR’s BD manager, they will coordinate closely with THOR capture managers to maintain/update a pipeline. They will lead development and coordination efforts for proposal content creation both prior to and after release of government RFQs/RFPs. This position requires a proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and who can effectively collaborate with teammates to ensure the successful continuation of THOR’s business development and growth.\nTypical Responsibilities:\nOverall Proposal Coordination: Working closely with operation Capture Managers to lead the development and submission of proposals, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to gather inputs and integrate them into cohesive proposals. Manage proposal timelines and deliverables to ensure timely submission.\nProposal Development/Technical Writing: Prepare clear, concise, and compelling technical documents and proposals. Ensure all written materials meet government and THOR standards for quality and consistency. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information for proposal content.\nCapture Planning and Preparation: Work with BD and capture personnel to analyze and develop contract opportunities. Establish preliminary capture schedules, analyze prior proposals/contracts, and develop draft content to help frontload proposal development tasking.\nData Maintenance and Analytics: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business development and capture strategies. Develop data-driven insights to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Maintain and update various databases, software, and tools to ensure accurate and timely information is available for decision-making.\nMeeting Participation: Lead or attend internal and external meetings to gather information and provide updates on proposal development. Document meeting outcomes and follow up on action items to ensure progress is tracked and communicated.\nCollaboration: Work closely with teammates to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions for proposals. Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team performance and proposal success.\nLocation:\nHybrid from Virginia Beach, VA is highly preferred.\nFully remote candidates may be considered, from CONUS locations where THOR operates, with a preference toward candidates located in any of the following: VA, CA, or District of Columbia.\nA fully remote candidate may need to travel to Virginia Beach, VA frequently.\nTravel: Periodic travel to THOR worksites, industry events, other partner locations, and government customer locations within the United States. May involve: repetitive motion.\nTypical Pay Range: The anticipated pay range for this position in the identified location(s) is $85,000 - 100,000. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience.\nEligibility for a SECRET Security Clearance is Required: This position requires eligibility for a Secret security clearance, to be obtained after hire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position.\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nBachelor's degree in a business, communication or STEM field.In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, additional years of highly relevant experience and/or other pertinent professional credentials may be considered.\n\nAt least (5) years of recent, relevant experience.
