The position creates user information solutions and develops, implements, and maintains application components and interfaces across the full development life cycle. Through these efforts, the position delivers reliable, maintainable, and mission-aligned software solutions that support the customer's modernization objectives.\nTypical Responsibilities:\nAnalyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.\nAnalyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems, and review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.\nCreate user information solutions and develop, implement, and maintain application components and interfaces.\nDefine objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.\nDesign and develop user interfaces for internet/intranet applications, determining design methodologies and tool sets and conducting tests.\nRecommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development versus commercially available software.\nIntegrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.\nTroubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms, and support users through documentation and assistance tools.\n Location: Onsite at USCG MIFC LANT (Maritime Intelligence Fusion Center Atlantic) base in Virginia Beach, VA.Typical Physical Activity: Desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.\nTypical Pay Range: The anticipated pay range for this position in the identified location(s) is $115,000 - $132,000. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience.\nExisting TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance Required: This position requires an existing active TS/SCI security clearance prior to hire.
