110k annually\nAbout the Job\nThe DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between development and operations by implementing practices, tools, and automation that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our software delivery lifecycle.\nThe overarching goal is to improve agility, scalability, and stability of our software deployment processes, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.\nAs a DevOps Engineer at ThreatFabric, you play a key role in managing infrastructure, enabling seamless deployments, improving system reliability, and ensuring secure and compliant cloud-native operations in a fast-growing cybersecurity scale-up.\nWe are currently looking for a senior engineer that has done enterprise scale installations and is aware of common pitfalls in deploying and maintaining multiple deployments.\nResponsibilities\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nSupporting and advising on Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) implementations to streamline software delivery.\nImplementing and maintainingGitOpspractices to automate infrastructure and application deployments using Git repositories.\nManaging andmaintainingexisting infrastructure and cloud infrastructure environments.\nProactivelyidentifyingrequired maintenance and ensuringtimelyexecution to guarantee system stability and reliability.\nDesigning future-proof, scalable solutions that are easy to use for software development teams.\nClosing the gap between customer deployments andThreatFabrictemplates.\nSupporting and executing API deployments internally and within customer environments.\nImplementing monitoring and logging solutions to proactively detect and resolve issues.\nPerforming root cause analyses independently and implementing sustainable fixes.\nEnsuring unit testing, code coverage, dependency checks, and security scans meet agreed standards and timelines.\nManaging infrastructure security by implementing andmaintainingsecurity protocols within DevOps processes.\nSupporting AI/ML workloads bymaintainingand managing compute clusters and enabling seamless collaboration between Data Scientists and Developers.\nImplementing and adhering to team and product SLAs.\nParticipating in the on-call pool (24/7) for critical incidents whenrequired.\nWho are we looking for?\nSkills & Competencies\nTechnical skills\nExtensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, and related technologies. \nStrong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI and Argo CD. \nSolid understanding of software delivery lifecycle, including version control, code reviews, and release management practices. \nProven experience implementing and operating observability and monitoring solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, and AWS CloudWatch. \nExperience with log management, search, and analytics platforms, including Elasticsearch and OpenSearch. \nStrong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies using Terraform or equivalent technologies. \nHands-on experience managing Kubernetes deployments with Helm. \nExperience working with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures. \nSoftware development background with practical experience in modern programming languages, particularly Java, Python and Go. \nStrong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cloud security best practices. \nExperience designing and troubleshooting AWS networking components and architectures. \nKnowledge of FinOps principles and experience optimizing cloud consumption and infrastructure costs.\nAnalytical skills\nAbility to analyze and understand internal and external customer requirements.\nStructured, step-by-step approach to root cause analysis and solution implementation.\nEye for detail\nDemonstrates precision in building andmaintainingsystems and infrastructure.\nProduces clear, complete, and transferable documentation.\nCollaboration and communication skills\nEffective collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nClear communication of ideas, trade-offs, and proposed technical solutions.\nInformation Security, Business Continuity & Privacy\nHas a positive and active attitude towards information security, business continuity, and privacy.\nEngages in awareness sessions and stays up to date on relevant information (e.g., Teams and Confluence).\nActively reports security incidents to the Risk Officer or supports in solving security incidents when expertise is required.\nActs as a role model andadheresto all applicable policiesregardinginformation security, privacy, and business continuity.\nWhat we offer\nA 12-month employment contract with the intention to extend.
